Biography

SonnyJi is a UK based award winning DJ, music producer and former BBC Asian Network DJ of the 'Bhangra Mixtape' show where he made a global name by mixing Asian beats into western sounds live on air, each and every week.

He grew up inspired by House music as well as well as sounds of his own culture such as Bhangra, Bollywood and Asian Underground and has taken this sound worldwide as well as events at home such as Glastonbury, Bestival and clubs such as Ministry of Sound and Fabric.
