Biography

Our host, Pearly, is of South Asian decent and continuously breaks barriers while facing taboo’s in her culture head on. She is a firm believer in paving your own way, being unapologetically authentic and honest. Pearly really takes “unfiltered” to a new level while maintaining respect, care and consideration for her guests and listeners. A woman who has experienced a lot in life both positive and negative, encourages guests and listeners to speak their truth in order to heal. While sharing the stories and experiences of others, she gives listeners a glimpse into her life and how she has broken every barrier she has faced having a beautiful baby “out of wedlock”, marrying outside of her culture and being true to what she believes is important.. remaining grounded and having a good heart. She is constantly giving back to the community in the form of charity, meditation events, healing circles and networking events. Community is everything to her. Her perspective is real and refreshing.

Pearly is the host of the Diatribe Podcast which is a platform that brings healing, connection and realness to its community! Pearly is a multi-faceted South Asian Woman who is living in her revolutionary truth simply by existing. She is also a mama, wife and sister to many. Through storytelling and her truth, she finds healing and understanding. Her unfiltered approach makes South Asian women and POC feel heard.
